Comfort Inn Dubuque

Good staff, easy access, close to gas and shopping and good restaurants.

Very functional nothing flashy, clean room and left with an OK breakfast.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights. The bathroom fan did not work. We told the front desk several times. It did not get fixed. There was a man digging through the dumpster. We told the front desk. They didn't care. The light by the bed would go on and off whenever I sat down or got up off the bed. I had to reroute the extension cord to fix the problem. The television reception was bad even though it was cable. It hurt our eyes to watch certain channels. Our key cards quit working and we got locked out of the hotel. The front desk person was also the one who ran the continental breakfast and they were swamped. They kept running out of everything. Clean, easy to get to, nice room, and quiet.

Staff friendly and helpful. Need to make sure the hallways are clean.

I got a smoking room and was very unhappy about that. I couldn't hardly sleep the smell bothered me so much. I do enjoy Comfort Inns and was very happy with the price I got using Priceline.

I've stayed there several times and have always enjoyed it.

Over all we liked the hotel. We had a good stay and liked the breakfast.
